On September 21, 2018, within the Lviv Publishers’ Forum a creative meeting Four Latvian Poets in the Ukrainian Space, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Latvia, was held in the Scientific and Technical Library of Lviv Polytechnic National University.
Knuts Skujenieks, Uldis Bērziņš, Māris Salējs and Juris Helds – each of these talented poets has got several professions. For example, Knuts Skujenieks, in addition to poetry, is actively involved in translation and journalism. Uldis Bērziņš is also a talented translator and a linguist, Māris Salējs is a famous translator and a literary critic, and Juris Helds, besides literature, is actively engaged in cinematography.
All those who attended the event could see how these «four different elements» united into one...
