The monitoring team of the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine paid a visit to Lviv Polytechnic.

Specialists of the program Ivanna Atamanchuk and Veronika Yefymenko met with students, lecturers and responsible for international cooperation at the departments, as well as with the staff of the Erasmus Office of the Center for International Education of University.

– This is a very important event, as the Erasmus K1 program, in which Lviv Polytechnic takes part, operates at the national level. In order to increase the number of international academic exchange programs, we must strictly adhere to the requirements of the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education. The information must be widely distributed, said Head of the Center for International Education of Lviv Polytechnic Nataliia Hots.

At a meeting there was a debate between students who took part in the program and those who did not pass the contest about the experience of participating in Erasmus+, positive moments and problems. As the result it was decided to create a community of the members of the Erasmus+ program of academic mobility, who have bigger opportunities to get a job both in Ukraine and in Europe. Also they will be able to share their experiences with future participants of the program.

The teaching staff also shared their experiences. When the responsible for the international activity from the Departments joined the conversation, representatives of the Erasmus Office raised questions about the accessibility and transparency of the program.

The Center for International Education informed the monitoring committee how the competition is run at the university. The Commission representatives answered numerous questions of the meeting participants. In general, Lviv Polytechnic was well evaluated, but a more detailed valuation will be written in the relevant commission report.
