For the fourth consecutive year, the Department of Management and International Business of Lviv Polytechnic National University implements activities within the Agreement on Partnership and Business Cooperation between Lviv Polytechnic and the Dutch company Diamond FMS B.V.
One of the directions of cooperation is the study and application of specialized software called Diamond Financial Management System, which supports budgeting, planning, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), consolidated financial statement, monitoring of economic performance, etc., provided by Diamond FMS BV. The practical application of Diamond FMS takes place in the form of laboratory works, provided for the study of such disciplines as Economics of Innovation Enterprise and Economics and Management and Legal Support of Business Activity.
Specific features of this software application are the language interface. Yes, students can work in the program in Ukrainian, English, French, German, Spanish and Russian. This approach enables the high-quality training for foreign students and promotes the effective assimilation of economic and financial terminology in the world’s leading languages.
