On May 23, 2019, the VIth Dance Aerobics Competition for the Rector’s Cup and Miss Fitness contest were held at the University Sports Complex. More than 150 participants took part in the competitions. 9 teams and 10 finalists of the fitness marathon competed for the main trophy. Since the competitions were open, students from Stepan Gzhytskyi National University of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnologies in Lviv also participated.
Teams showed a high level of preparation and impressive performances. During interesting compositions performers revealed their high artistic skills. As a result of the competition, the Drive team became the champion and won the Big Cup.
Fitness marathon competition consisted of two tasks – Tabata complex and functional training. Performing the best of all Liana Bieliakova (ICCT) won the title «Lviv Polytechnic Miss Fitness».
In the Aerostep competition between the teams of Lviv Polytechnic National University and Stepan Gzhytskyi National University of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnologies convincing victory and gold medals were received by Polytechnic girls.
Awarding the contestants and summing up, Professor Yurii Bobalo noted that in such a way students create a positive image of our university and added that each team and each competitor are worthy of the highest awards.
