At the September Academic Board, among those who received a Candidate of Sciences diploma, was Polish Dominika Roslon, who for the third year has been working at the Department of Political Science and International Relations, teaching Political Science, Country Studies, and intends in the future to teach students Foreign Policy of Poland.
– I came to Lviv six years ago – I entered postgraduate study at I. Franko University. Before that I studied in Białystok (Poland), where I am from. However, my first trip to Ukraine, to Crimea, was when I was a student. Since then, I’ve been drawn to Ukraine. When I arrived in Lviv, I realized that I want to live in this beautiful city for at least a few more years.
Dominika’s decision to move to Lviv for some time coincided with her scientific interests – she studied Eastern Partnership and relations between Ukraine and Poland. Eastern Partnership was brilliantly examined in her thesis.
Dominika enthusiastically tells how she loves Lviv: she feels good here and likes her work, she got used to the Department and to students. Her colleagues always support her. When she needs help – she quickly gets it.
