Lviv Polytechnic, due to the support of the IT cluster partners, expands the possibilities of preparing qualified specialists: it has opened a new IoT-laboratory for the students of the Internet of Things program at the Department of Computerized Automation Systems of the Institute of Computer Technologies, Automation and Metrology. Here, Polytechnicians will learn to program smart devices and will be able to implement their own ideas in life.
The new laboratory, which has 14 workplaces, is equipped with the latest technical equipment for the work on the Internet of Things projects. In particular, for students there were purchased laser engraver, 3D printers, robotic cars and laptops.
This is the second laboratory in our university to design and construct the Internet of Things devices. The opening of the laboratory was funded by seven cluster companies: general partners Sigma Software and SoftServe, the exclusive partner PLVision LLC, gold partners Intellias, Perfectial, Conscensia and the silver partner Vakoms.
