On November 21, there was an interesting lecture «Japanese Tea Ceremony for Beginners» at the Ukrainian-Japanese Center, Scientific and Technical Library, Lviv Polytechnic. Takashi Kuroki, President of Kyiv Aikido and Martial Arts Federation, spoke about the old Japanese tradition, history and reasons for the popularity of tea ceremony, as well as the well-known Japanese who were involved in it.
In addition to acquiring new knowledge, the second year students majoring in Applied Linguistics, the Institute of Computer Science and Information Technologies, who study Japanese as their second foreign language, were able to hear native speaker and test their own knowledge.
