Ukrainian kyokushin karate championship ended in Odesa
Valeriia Troian, a student of the Institute of Applied Mathematics and Fundamental Sciences of Lviv Polytechnic, became a champion of Ukraine in the weight category 55–60 kg. Anastasiia Yurenia from the Institute of Computer Technologies, Automation and Metrology won the second place in the weight category over 65 kg.
Among juniors in the Kata section the first place was taken by Yana Kucher, weight category over 65 kg, the Institute of Engineering Mechanics and Transport, and Roman Kaminskyi, weight category 55–60 kg, Institute of Economics and Management.
Master of sports Oleksandr Korol, senior lecturer at the Department of Physical Education of University, is the coach of Lviv Polytechnicians.
