On November 27, a series of lectures by renowned foreign researchers began within «To the Top with Roshen» project. The first lecture was read by Daniel Zaborski, Assistant Professor, Doctor of Engineering, Laboratory of Biostatistics, Faculty of Biotechnology and Animal Husbandry at West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin, Poland, at the Department of Technology of Biologically Active Substances, Pharmacy and Biotechnology of the Institute of Chemistry and Chemical Technologies. The lecture was on Bioinformatics Databases that provoked great interest not only among students, but academics as well.
– Daniel Zaborski specializes in Bioinformatics – one of the most promising fields in biotechnology. Today’s lecture was about biological databases of protein and nucleotide sequences, which is very important for genetic engineering,» says TBASPB Professor Viktoriia Havryliak.
