On February 22, 2019, a regional meeting-seminar was held at Technical College of Lviv Polytechnic National University to discuss the approved draft law of Ukraine «On Profession Oriented Secondary Education».
Oleh Sharov, Director General of Directorate of Higher and Adult Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Volodymyr Pavlysh, First Vice-Rector of Lviv Polytechnic National University, Roman Korzh, Vice-Rector on Scientific and Pedagogical Work of Lviv Polytechnic, as well as directors, deputy directors of higher education institutions of the I-II accreditation levels, rectors and vice-rectors of universities and academies and their technical schools and colleges attended the meeting.
Such issues as the place of colleges in the education system and the legal mechanisms for training middle-level specialists were discussed at the meeting-seminar. After the discussion, Oleh Sharov answered numerous questions that were of interest to the audience.
