On June 4, 2019, the new Scientific and Methodological Commission 7 on Information Technologies, Automation and Telecommunications in the Higher Education Sector of the Scientific and Methodological Council of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine gathered for the first meeting. It elected the heads, deputy heads and secretaries of the commission and its subcommissions.
Serhii Subbotin, the Head of the Department of Software Resources at Zaporizhzhia National Technical University, was elected as the Head of the Scientific and Methodological Commission 7. The secretary of the Commission became Nataliia Shakhovska, the Head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence Systems of the Institute of Computer Science and Information Technologies at Lviv Polytechnic.
The Scientific and Methodological Commission 7 includes 3 fields of study and 12 specialties, which programs for bachelor’s, master’s and doctor’s of philosophy degrees will be developed and updated.
