On February 19, the University Rector Yurii Bobalo met with Chief Rabbi of Ukraine and All-Ukrainian Congress of Jewish Religious Communities Moshe Reuven Azman. As it became known, the guest is interested in the evidence for the recognition of Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky as Righteous Among the Nations. In this regard, Polytechnic and Yurii Bobalo, in particular, were invited to join a public council, which would soon be established with the assistance of the mayor of Lviv, and would specialize in the search for relevant evidence and documents.
