The Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2021 include more than 1,500 universities from 93 countries, among which there are 9 Ukrainian higher education institutions.
This year, Lviv Polytechnic National University significantly improved its position in the overall ranking and rose from 801–1000 to the 501–600 category. Polytechnic is one of only two HEIs in Ukraine that entered this category. Another Ukrainian university entered the 801–1000 category, and the other 6 – took places in the category 1001+.
Our University has also improved its position by subject. In particular, by Civil Engineering and Architecture Lviv Polytechnic is the only Ukrainian university in the category 501–600.
For the other 19 subjects, Lviv Polytechnic is also positioned in the group of universities 501–600, which includes one more Ukrainian university, other Ukrainian universities took places in the categories – 801–1000 and 1001+.
