In the near future Ukraine will become attractive for foreign business: first of all for IT specialists

Recently, the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal signed the Resolution «On conducting an experiment on the introduction and implementation of e-residency in Ukraine», the relevant document was published on the website of the Cabinet of Ministers.

E-residency is a special status that opens new opportunities for foreign freelancers and entrepreneurs who have assets in Ukraine or want to conduct business remotely in our country. So, in a few months, the first electronic residents will appear in Ukraine.

According to the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, in this regard, our country will receive a number of benefits, namely:

• increase in exports of IT products under the brand «made in Ukraine»;
• increase in the amount of taxes paid to the state budget of Ukraine;
• improvement of Ukraine’s position in the world rankings as a country with a high degree of technology and innovation;
• as a result – an increase in foreign investment.
