Tech StartUp School, Lviv Polytechnic National University, with the support of the Department of Education and Science of Lviv Regional State Administration, held a roundtable discussion on «Development of innovative entrepreneurship and invention in secondary schools of Lviv region».
Representatives of the Department of Education and Science of LRSA, Tech StartUp School of Lviv Polytechnic, SID City Science Park of Lviv Polytechnic, Lviv Regional Small Academy of Sciences, Lviv Regional Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education, Khodoriv United Territorial Community, Zhydachiv and Stryj District Regional Administrations, Stryi City Council, Heads of Departments for Education and Directors of Secondary Schools attended the event.
The purpose of the round table was to discuss areas of work with gifted youth, including intensification of research by schoolchildren and organization of innovative educational environment to provide research for personal development and self-realization in secondary schools. The main purpose of such centers is to create a powerful community of creative inventors who will work on their own ideas and innovative developments from adolescence.
20 School Directors, interested in the development of innovative education among schoolchildren, attended the meeting.
The main types of future activities were presented at the meeting, namely the possibilities of using drones and robotics.
During the visit to the innovative laboratory Tech LabInno, the participants of the round table were impressed by the opportunities and prospects of cooperation.
