Lviv Polytechnic is the main supplier of specialists for Lviv IT industry

IT industry in Ukraine and in Lviv as well is considered to be one of the most dynamic and progressive ones. For the fourth year in a row, Lviv IT Cluster, together with the sociological agency Fama, has been tracking this dynamics by conducting an IT research. Data for 2018 and 2019 have been analyzed in a new IT Research 4.0.

In particular, it is found out that 69.3% of IT specialists obtained master’s degree. In the Top 3 higher education institutions, where Lviv IT professionals studied, are the following universities:

1. Lviv Polytechnic National University (41.1%);
2. Ivan Franko National University of Lviv (27.1%);
3. Ukrainian Academy of Printing (4.2%).
