The device in the real conditions of engineering object provides an opportunity to calculate the optimal duration of global navigation satellite system (GNSS) observations for definition of deformation and displacement of engineering structures with the specified accuracy.
The device consists of two differential carriages, on which GNSS antenna receivers are set and for which determination of the optimal measurements duration in given conditions is conducted. Using the device, we are able to hold displacement of GNSS antenna in space in three dimensions with accuracy 0.01 mm.
Depending on the size of the linear displacement of GNSS antenna in space the optimal parameters of differential measurements depending on the duration of observation, the frequency, length of the vector, which provide the definition of GNSS antenna displacement with the set accuracy, are determined.
