Scientific and technical services:
- refractive measurements on the samples of isotropic and anisotropic materials in visible and mm/cm wavelength range;
- acoustic measurements of longitudinal and transverse acoustic waves velocities in anisotropic crystals of different symmetry by means of echo-pulse method. Calculation of piezo-electric and elastic coefficients based on such measurements;
- interferometric measurements of all components of electro-, piezo- and elasto-optic effect in crystalline materials belonging to an arbitrary symmetry class;
- acousto-optic studies of crystalline materials by Dixon-Cohen method and respective calculations of the acousto-optic figure of merit;
- computer modeling of optimal geometries for induced (electro-, piezo-, elasto- and acousto-optic) effects based on the developed technology of the most efficient use of anisotropic materials.
