– calculation of elements of plan, longitudinal section, elements of intersection, firmness of soil bed;
– hydraulic estimations of bridges, pumps, drainage structures on motor roads;
– construction and calculation of road revetment depending on traffic intensity and kinds of transport;
– selection of the makeup of road machine complexes for carrying out road construction and repair work and for maintenance of motor roads;
– design of motor roads with application of SAPR-AD. – ability to make well-grounded technological decisions concerning the choice of materials, machines and mechanisms for construction of motor road;
– ability to make optimal decisions about organisation, planning and management of motor roads;
– ability to assign measures on the basis of engineering and economic prospecting, concerning reconssruction, repairing and exploitation of motor road;
– ability to analyse the results of experimental research and publish scientific reports and articles.

Gained competence: – main technological processes during construction of soil bed and road revetment in different climatic conditions;
– principles of road laying on plan, longitudinal section and transverse section depending on locality, hydrologic and geologic conditions;
– methods and principles of construction and calculation of road revetments of hard and non-hard types;
– basic principles of computer-aided design of the plan, longitudinal section of soil bed, road revetments, artificial structures and transport intersections;
– methods and technological means of estimation of proper condition of motor roads for transport exploitation, assignment of maintenance and exploitation measures.
