Learning outcomes:
- ability to demonstrate knowledges of basic methods of synthesis of functional electronics materials,
- practical skills and ability to design and perform experimental research, to interpret data and draw conclusions in a specialization,
- ability to choose synthesis methods as needed, to systematize and compare them,
- ability to search the literature, consult and critically use scientific data on material synthesis,
- ability to recognize the need and learn independently during life,
- the ability to track the development of science and technology.

prerequisites: Devices based on MOS structures
co-requisites: Converters based on semiconductor and dielectric materials and heterostructures
Summary of the subject:
Solid-phase reactions: general principles, experimental implementation, kinetics. Dispersion synthesis methods: general characteristics and types. Condensation synthesis methods. Co-precipitation, sol-gel, hydrothermal methods. Synthesis under the influence of microwave radiation. Methods of condensation from the gas phase. Ion exchange reactions as methods of obtaining new compounds based on existing structures. Obtaining materials in the form of thin layers and films.
