After completing the course the graduate should be able to:
• summarize, think critically and analyze the phenomena and problems being studied, show flexibility in decision-making based on logical arguments and verified facts in a limited time and resources on the basis of general scientific methodology;
• analyze and apply conceptual models, scientific achievements of domestic and foreign scientists, fundamental postulates and theories, paradigms of global economic development, the latest approaches to the functioning and development of the world economy and international economic relations;
• have a scientific holistic view of the economic unity of the world, the regulatory mechanisms of international economic relations at the national, regional and international levels in the current processes of convergence and divergence;
• demonstrate a systematic scientific worldview, the ability to think creatively, formulate conclusions and develop recommendations, offer extraordinary approaches using the latest technologies in solving problems;
• identify scientific and practical problems, prepare scientific texts and reports, carry out public testing of research results in both state and foreign languages, demonstrate oral and written communication.

• modern theories of world economic development;
• modeling the development of the global economy.
