- hypertext markup elements in the Web and Cascading style sheets CSS;
- approaches and methods of implementing adaptive Web-design;
- object model of DOM document;
- the basics of working with the HTTP protocol;
- JavaScript programming language.
be able:
- apply knowledge about graphic, animation and other elements in Web projects;
- to work effectively both individually and in a team, to present the results of work;
- to be able to create resources for the Internet and implement design ideas by means of markup languages, CSS and client scripts for placement on the network;
- systematically think and apply creative abilities to the formation of fundamentally new ideas;
- to implement the client-server communication from the side of the client's part;
- apply JavaScript knowledge in practice;
- implement the principles of OOP in the JavaScript language.

Summary of the subject:
The purpose of teaching discipline is to study the theoretical foundations of developing web applications, how to implement interactivity in web projects, familiarizing themselves with client-server interaction implementation and mastering the knowledge of the JavaScript language, the basics of object-oriented programming.
