• be able to apply procedures for determining of host’s efficiency and testing a connection to a remote Internet - node; use search engines and software for finding the information in the Internet; configure email services of determining for messages' processing rules; use Skype for messaging and participation in the conferences.

Summary of the subject:
Studying of the basic utility for determining of host’s efficiency. Learning of browsers' opportunities: google chrome, mozilla firefox and opera, while working in the world wide web. Studying of search engines and programs for finding the information in the Internet. Work with file archives in the Internet, FTP service, network-oriented file transfer protocol FTP, basic ftp-commands. SMTP protocols, POP3, IMAP. Work with gmail. Setting of mail service. Technology of transfer of media data in real time. RTP protocol.
