• be aware of welding materials and equipment, process technology features, something used for welding dissimilar metals and ferrous and steel;
• be able to develop the technological process of welding nonferrous and dissimilar metals and alloys, choose welding consumables, welding equipment set up and implement the welding process.

Welding and deposition of nonferrous metals and alloys. Welding heterogeneous metals and steel. Thermal cutting of nonferrous metals. Equipment for welding and cutting of nonferrous metals. Health and safety in the production constructions made of nonferrous metals. While studiing of this discipline students acquire theoretical and practical knowledge of welding technology nonferrous and dissimilar metals and steels, which are used in production at the moment and will be used in near future.
