Learning outcomes:
• know the main reference surfaces used in geodesy;
• know schema of state geodetic network construction and methods of its creation;
• have an understanding of the most used in geodesy coordinate system and be able to carry out the transition between the numerical coordinates of points in these systems.

Summary of the subject:
Subject of Geodesy. Main reference surfaces in geodesy. Spatial coordinate systems (geocentric Cartesian, geodetic) and the plane coordinate system (Gauss-Kruger projection), widely used to solve problems in geodesy. The concept of state geodetic network and methods of its creation. Coordinate systems used in Ukraine: СК-63, СК-42, УСК2000.

• written reports on laboratory work, oral examination, settlement and control work (30%);
