Learning outcomes:
Following the completion of the module the student should:
- Know the general differences between economic theory and sociology of the economy;
- To know the history of the theoretical and methodological principles categories of the sociology of the economy and its place in the sciences that study society;
- Know the theoretical aspects and empirical substantiation of the main problems of the sphere of knowledge;
- Know the current trends in sociology of economy in Ukraine and abroad.
- Be able to analyze economic processes in Ukraine today for methodological position of sociology economy;
- Be able to adequately explain the process of labor laws in different regions of Ukraine;
- Be able to explain the process of labor mobility and specific employment career;
- Be able to explain the meaning and essence of the processes of motivation and stimulation of labor in the economic development of the state;
- Applying technology to be able to collect, analyze and synthesis of empirical data to develop and refine approaches and methodological tools needed to streamline and improve policy in socio-economic management.
- Know the connection theory sociology economy with market research programming;
- Know the specifics of sociological research within the marketing information system;
- Know the main types of market research;
- Know the basic techniques and technology market research;
- Know the basic model study of social processes at the intersection of economics and sociology.
- Be able to use the theoretical principles of sociology economy in programming market research;
- Be able to practice the basic methods of marketing research;
- Be able to develop research projects for various marketing information;
- Be able to analyze the results of market research and provide practical recommendations.

Summary of the subject:
Sociology of economics as a science, the subject of study and the history of ideas; Social economic sphere of society; The economic behavior and economic consciousness; Social aspects of human resources; Work as a socio-economic process; Sociology of economic organizations and businesses; Socio-economic stratification and economic development; Quality of life and socio-economic progress.
Sociology consumption: object, subject, story development. Culture of consumption and consumer society. Basic category analysis of consumer behavior. The main types of consumption. Institute trade. Institutes of advertising and fashion. The institutions of the market and marketing. Individual consumer behavior. Types of consumer technology and methods of marketing research. Consumer research and consumer behavior. Market research. Research channel marketing communications and advertising.
