Department: Applied Physics and Nanomaterials Science
Lecturer: professor Grygorchak Ivan
Semester: 2 семестр
Mode of Study: денна
Learning outcomes:
As the result of the study of the module the student should:
- know the physical principles and laws and be able to use them in the those areas of technology, which do not belong to the specialty of the student;
- acquire the scientific thinking, in particular, a proper understanding of the limits of the use of different physical concepts, laws, theories and be able to estimate the degree of the reliability of the results, that were obtained by using of the experimental or mathematical methods of research;
- acquire the skills for solving of specific physical problems wich in further will help to solve the engineering problems;
- acquire the skills of the carrying out of the experimental measurements of various physical values and the estimation of the errors of the measurements;
- know the limits of the application of the physical phenomena and laws, their nature, physical and mathematical background, relationship with the other phenomena;
- know the effective ways and methods of the solving of physical problems in the framework of the course;
- understand the nature and essence of the phenomena and laws of physics;
- be able to apply the acquired knowledge in practice.
