Learning outcomes:
As a result of module studying a student has to:
• know the principles of functioning, implementation methods of satellite communication systems
• know methods of access to the global systems of infocommunications and technologies of interaction with local networks;
• be able to use the acquired knowledges for design and exploitation of soft hardware to interact of ground stations with space segment.

Terminal devices of subscriber access
Standards and protocols of telecommunication facilities
Summary of the subject:
Creating of satellite communication systems. Bases of satellites movement in orbits. Specifications of satellite communication systems. FDMA, TDMA and CDMA. The frequency bands for satellite communications. Learning ways of a radio communication through satellites GEO, LEO, MEO. Two-way radio equipment of ground and airborne stations. Switching of information on the satellite board. The functioning of circuits DAMA-FDMA with CSC, SS/TDMA.
