The final stage of the unique transnational project between Lviv Polytechnic National University students and a German company BTS, first international student competition program «Crowd Funding StartUp», will be held on May 16, 2017.
The objective of the competition was to hold a so called «Crowd Funding Campaign» for a real German company BTS, which works in the field of IT services and working process management. The best crowd funding campaign concept will be used to raise money in Germany and on the crowd funding platform to motivate a bigger number of investors from the «crowd» to invest in this business idea.
Professor Reiner Schenk, PhD, a German economist, fiscal consulter and international crowd funding expert, was invited to supervise the competition.
19 teams (90 participants in total) took part in the competition. 4 teams got to the finale.
The winning team will have a free trip to Germany in order to co-operate with BTS. They will also receive a prize of 57 000 hrn (2000 €), the runners up will receive 28 500 hrn (1000 €).
