Valeriia Fetisova, a graduate of the Department of Political Science and International Relations, Lviv Polytechnic National University, told us about her studies after Polytechnic.
After graduating from Lviv Polytechnic, she received a scholarship from the European Union to study at the College of Europe in Belgium, majoring in European Political and Governance Studies.
Taking into account that she had not previously studied in detail law and institutional system of the EU, it was difficult at first, but Valeria is satisfied, as this year she has gained a lot of knowledge and practical experience.
The graduate says that the variety of subjects at Polytechnic helped her to adapt quickly and to analyze international relations from different perspectives. In addition, I am grateful for the people I met here and who treated learning responsibly, thus motivating to constantly improve.
Unfortunately, in general there were few opportunities. Comparing studies in Belgium with the most successful students from more than 50 countries who have participated in various projects and exchange programmes, the student says that this area needs to be better developed in Ukraine. Valeriia Fetisova advises current students to study thoroughly, but at the same time to be actively involved in initiatives outside the University.
