Andrii, having an amputated leg, destroys all stereotypes about «dependent, unhappy and unable to succeed» people with disabilities ...

About himself Andrii Demchuk tells a lot of interesting things: «I am a father of two children, and also I am a man who loves his wife. Unfortunately, I am already 32, I like travelling a lot, I am an academic at Lviv Polytechnic, but I will try… not to lecture, but to tell you stories as human rights are not a boring textbook… «. And only at the end he adds that he is a member of the national team of Paralympic Wheelchair Fencing and knows a little bit how people with disabilities live.

Honest, talkative, with a good sense of humor – he easily tells about his achievements and principles of life, and the obstacles he has to overcome almost every day.

In his opinion, the attitude to people with disabilities in Ukraine has to be changed a lot. But today, each of us can help.
