Two men, who could not walk on their own, managed to climb Mount Pikui. Volunteers from «On 3 wheels» organization, which takes care of people with disabilities, and the charity association of veterans «Veterans go», with the help of special wheelchairs «Joëlette», assisted ATO veteran and a man with cerebral palsy to climb Mount Pikui in the Carpathians. One of these wheelchairs was made in Lviv.

Ivan Masliuk, who has cerebral palsy, started the project «On 3 wheels», which organizes mountain hikes and active recreation for people with disabilities. Volunteers began raising money for a wheelchair that allows people with disabilities to climb mountain peaks. Such an original «Joëlette» was purchased by volunteers in France. But later guys decided to produce one more wheelchair in Ukraine.

The drawings of the wheelchair were ordered from Lviv Polytechnic National University. Lviv businessman Roman Romaniuk, who develops bicycles, agreed to make such a «Joëlette» and even improved the construction: the wheelchair turned out to be 2 kg lighter.

It was first tested in early July on Mount Pikui. That day, two charitable organizations «On 3 wheels» and «Veterans go» and about 90 volunteers organized a climb for Ivan Masliuk and ATO veteran Oleksii Skryba.
