New challenges lead to new forms of work. Due to the pandemic, International Institute of Education, Culture and Diaspora Relations (IECDR), Lviv Polytechnic National University, is moving the XIII International Summer School of Ukrainian Studies «Step to Ukraine» online. The School will be held from July 13 to 26, 2020.
IECDR has extensive experience in conducting offline Summer Schools of Ukrainian Studies. Every year it organizes one or even several schools in Lviv, or on the road, in particular in Kazakhstan and Argentina. Participants of «Step to Ukraine» Summer Schools have been students, scientists, researchers and diplomats from 24 countries: France, Poland, Belarus, Argentina, Kazakhstan, Germany, Slovakia, Romania, Serbia, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Bulgaria, USA, Croatia, Czech Republic, Georgia, Moldova, Turkey, Canada, Great Britain, Algeria and Slovenia.
This year, participants from Switzerland, Argentina, Germany, Poland, New Zealand, Lithuania, Romania, Turkey, Finland, Belarus and Lebanon have registered for the offline «Step to Ukraine» Summer School of Ukrainian Studies. However, the pandemic and quarantine forced us to reformat the work of the School. Therefore, we have extended the registration deadline until June 3, 2020, and invite everyone who wants to learn the Ukrainian language and has reached the age of 16 to take part in an online school. To apply you need to fill in the registration form.
