The Department of Urban Planning and Design was founded in Lviv Polytechnic in 1913 in connection with the rapid growth of Lviv and the lack of qualified specialists. Our department forms the architectural environment of cities and towns of Ukraine, and most of all - Lviv. We create a friendly environment for you and your relatives and friends.
Urban development embraces all areas of the formation of the environment. Man is looking for comfort and amenities - from well-designed highways and residential environment to public transport stops, parks and squares. There are many areas of urban development activities that make the city and the environment a comfortable, humble place for each person.
