The Transport Technologies department was established in 2004 on the transport technologies basis section «Automobile roads» department. Since the establishment of the department, it’s the part of the Engineering Mechanics and Transport Institute. The head of the department was appointed Sc.D., Prof. Ihor Vikovich.
Since 2008 the department has headed by Sc.D., Prof. Yevhen Fornalchyk.
The department carries out training programs:
- Bachelor’s education 275 «Transport technologies (on motor transport)»;
- Master’s education 275.03 «Transport technologies (automotive vehicle transports)» educational program «Organization and regulation of road traffic», «Transport organization and management in transport»;
- Master’s education 275.03 «Transport technologies (automotive vehicle transports)» educational and scientific program «Intelligent Transport and City Logistics».
