Gained competence:
- fundamentals of theory; design standards; methods of urban planning; architectural design of new residential and public buildings or restoration and reconstruction of the historical ones, environmental design;
- functional-typological, architectural-artistic fundamentals of building design and complex building design as well;
- major approaches to functional -planning and architectural-artistic building and complex building management, taking into consideration different needs of the population, climate and urban planning peculiarities, requirements of monument preservation legislation;
- interconnection between the volumetric-spatial, constructive, building, engineering solutions and maintenance qualities of structures;
- technology of design management in architecture and urban planning, stages of design, functions of an architect as a supervisor of a design process;
- technology of design tasks development, content and sources of a pre-project information, methods of data acquisition and analysis;
- systems of design and working documentation, principal requirements;
- typology and classification of historical-architectural objects heritage and principles of their complex investigation;
- innovative technologies of fixation and computer modelling of historical architectural objects;
- methods and practices of historical-architectural heritage objects reconstruction, specificity of building materials and technologies in the field of restoration and reconstruction of architectural objects and their artistic alignment elements.
- to apply natural-science disciplines knowledge into solving the architectural and urban planning tasks;
- to use the main techniques of functional-planning management of buildings and their elements in architectural design taking into account social, natural-climate, ecological, normative, technological and other requirements;
- to offer a design idea and develop it while implementing the architectural project, to provide the architectural-composition , actual social and ecological tasks for creation of healthy, available and comfortable setting;
- to apply the methods, techniques and technologies including composition modelling and computer design;
- to follow the requirements of project documentation at all stages, comprising working drafts of architectural solutions.
- ability for analyzing the urgent architectural and urban planning problems, estimating the real possibilities of their solving via architectural-urban planning, environmental design;
- ability to effectively communicate and interact with different experts in an architectural-building field;
- ability for forming a stable world view and upholding the author’s design solutions;
