Learning outcomes:
1) the ability to install and configure the software that serves the work of the microcontroller;
2) the ability to write a program for a microcontroller that performs complex simulation and mathematical operations;
3) the ability to provide data read from discrete, analog, pulse and digital sensors;
4) the ability to provide work with a multiplexer, demultiplexer, encoder, decoder;
5) the ability to provide electric motor control;
6) the ability to connect LED indicators and symbolic liquid crystal display;
7) the ability to provide data exchange with EEPROM and SD cards.
Required prior and related subjects:
Pre-requisite: Application of microsystem devices.
Summary of the subject:
In the academic discipline the questions of circuit designing and simulation of microsystems are considered. Information about the hardware and software of microcontrollers is provided. The issues of interfacing with peripheral devices are considered: the main types of sensors, LED arrays, the keyboard, electric drives, liquid crystal display, LED indicators and memory cards.
