Learning outcomes:
- the student is able to explain and use the basic terms, definitions and concepts related to energy saving technologies;
- be able to determine the types of energy;
- to evaluate the role of the search for new energy sources for the to provide biotechnological production;
- the student is able to explain the impact of developments and the introduction of low-and low-waste energy-saving technologies which provides the most complete, rational use of resourcesand the principles of non-waste which allows solve complex problems of resources supply economics and environmental protection.

Summary of the subject:
Renewable energy sources.Directions of bioconversion of solar energy by biological systems.Producers of energy substances.Alternative Energy Sources. Biotechnological treatment systems and energy saving.Types of motor biofuels.Energy saving and production of biotechnology products. Realization of bioelectrolysis for hydrogen fuel. Energy saving when choosing a typical one hardware design technology of biofuel production.
