1. Development of typical processes occurring in reactors, the influence of external factors on processes.
2. Mastering of basic methods of construction and modes of operation of various reactors
3. Ability to correctly select the type of reactor needed for this production, analyzing all its advantages and disadvantages
4. Ability to calculate and design one or another type of reactor
5. Ability in future engineer to develop schemes of technological productions based on the results of calculations of chemical reactors at the present level.

Summary of the subject:
Within the discipline "Chemical reactors" the basic thermodynamic and kinetic principles of chemical processes and basic types of chemical reactors are studied. The main attention is paid to the conditions of distribution of residence time, temperatures and concentrations in different types of chemical reactors. The result of the study of this discipline is the opposition to the principle of calculation and optimization of chemical reactors.
