Following the completion of the module the student should:
- know the laws of functioning and development of world economy;
- know the trends of international economic relations, financial markets and financial instruments;
- be able to use this knowledge to analyze the patterns of interaction between national economies and international economic relations in the field of international trade, inter-country movement of factors of production, financing and formation of international economic policy;
- be able to analyze foreign policy of Ukraine; analyze problems and provide prospects for foreign business development in Ukraine.

Functional relationships in international economic relations. International organizations. The classical theory of international trade in goods and services. International trade policy. International capital flows. International labor migration. International technology transfer. International economic integration. The international monetary and financial system. The cost of currency exchange rate. Theories of exchange rates. Balance of payments. International financial markets. Models of macroeconomic development of an open economy. Regulation of the international economy.
