Learning outcomes:
As the studies results, student has:
- know: erms and conditions of differentiation of objects of management in logistics, theory of the organization of warehouse logistics and inventory management, methods and tools-making logistics solutions for warehouses of various industries.
- to be able to: to analyze material flows in the Central warehouse, to calculate the magnitude of the total material flow and cost of cargo handling in the warehouse, to differentiate the factors in the warehouse materials handling, and to analyze the flow of goods in the warehouse and to evaluate the efficiency of a warehouse, to develop a reasonable program of activities to improve warehouse management, to propose measures to reduce inventory costs.

Summary of the subject:
Analysis materialogy in the warehouse, calculation of the total material flow and cost of cargo handling. Principles of design of composition, selection of the storage room. Requirements for planning storage space. The design of main storage areas. The choice of warehouse equipment. The organizational structures of warehouse management. The definition of the principles of the organization of storage of goods in the warehouse. The choice of system of cargo handling: mechanized, napivaetsya, computerized. The choice of it technology for the inventory maintenance and inventory of products in stock. Calculation of technological indicators of work of a warehouse and the coefficient of uniformity of loading of the warehouse. Determining the need for racking equipment. The calculation of the storage capacity and the required amount of storage equipment. Determination of the level of warehouse service. Calculation of indicators of use of warehouse space. The determination of the total useful area of the warehouse, the calculation of the utilization ratio of the storage capacity, storage costs and cost of production. Development of recommendations to minimize the costs of warehouse.
