- to get acquainted with the scientific and theoretical basis of modeling methods;
- to learn the basic principles of the models;
- to learn the constructing methods for mathematical models of deterministic, stochastic control systems;
- to learn and to be able of practically apply the methodology of the use of models for solving research and practical problems.

Нigher mathematics, probability theory and mathematical statistics;
Informatics, computational methods and programming.
Summary of the subject:
The concept of technical and technological systems, process, operation and model. Classification of models. Technological processes as an object of modeling. Principles of creation the models of deterministic systems. Construction of equivalent systems of technical objects. Principles of models creation of stochastic systems. Experimental and statistical modeling. Modeling of single and multi-dimensional process. Modeling processes of queuing. Principles of models creation of control systems. Modeling of transport type processes.
