The issues of formation and development of international cooperation of public authorities with states, international organizations, NGOs, TNCs, etc. are relevant and open today. They provide for political and legal analysis of various structures that influence the process of implementing reforms as a basis for the formation of public administration in the Ukrainian state.
The purpose of the course is a detailed study of the peculiarities of state regulation of international cooperation, analysis and systematization of domestic and foreign experience in relation to the nature and peculiarities of this issue in the process of formation of the Ukrainian state.

Prerequisites: Regional and cross-border cooperation, Foreign
policy of Ukraine.

Co-requisites: Diplomatic and Consular Service, Public diplomacy.

Theoretical aspects of cooperation of public authorities with states, international organizations, NGOs, TNCs, etc. are analyzed. Domestic and foreign experience on the essence and features of this issue in the process of formation of the Ukrainian state is studied and systematized. A polemical system of genesis in the identification of the conceptual and categorical apparatus is proposed, namely: "international relations", "cooperation", "international cooperation", "international organizations", "international governmental organizations", "international non-governmental organizations", "public authorities", "Relations between public authorities and international organizations", "regional policy". It is determined that such cooperation plays an important role in political activity, in particular in the context of a new policy - decentralization, which is aimed at socio-economic development of the Ukrainian state. This controversy over the identification of the conceptual and categorical apparatus confirms the relevance of the study of the essence and directions of the desired progressive transformations in the international cooperation of public authorities.
