Learning outcomes:
As a result of study of educational discipline the "Criminal Law, part 2" student must be able to show such results of studies :
explanations of Plenum of the Supreme Court of Ukraine on application of norms of the General part of the Criminal Code;
the normative definitions of the basic concepts of the General part of the Criminal Code of Ukraine;
scientific determinations of concepts of General part of criminal law, that have no normative fixing;
the content of institutes of the General part of criminal law and provisions of the General part of the Criminal Code;
the position of investigative and judicial practice regarding the application of the provisions of the General part of the Criminal Code;
to know:
on the conceptual level - the existing criminal legislation and other normative-legal acts necessary for mastery of topics; the content of institutes of the General part of criminal law of Ukraine and their relationship;
at a fundamental level – the system of the General part of the Criminal Code and criminal law of Ukraine; the objectives, functions and principles of the General part of criminal law of Ukraine;
at practically-creative level - to carry out legal and scientific determination of concepts of General part of criminal law, that have no normative fixing;
Students should be able to:
on the reproductive level – effectively, based on the received knowledge, correctly to apply the provisions of the Criminal code of Ukraine solving specific tasks;
on heuristic (algorithmic) level - to determine the content of certain features of the crimes;
on a creative level - to leverage criminal legal knowledge to further improve the provisions of criminal law and law enforcement practice.
The study of the discipline involves the formation and development of competences:
general:
• ability to solve practical problems in the learning process and during the professional activities in the field of law and apply legal theories and methods based on existing national legislation;
• ability to written and oral communication in Ukrainian and English (or other) languages;
• basic knowledge of humanities and law to the extent necessary for the development of general professional disciplines;
• the ability to produce new ideas, to show creativity, ability of systematic thinking;
• ability effectively use in practice obtained during training knowledge and skills;
• the ability to plan and manage time;
professional:
• basic knowledge in the field of law required for the development of professionally-oriented disciplines;
• ability to identify, classify and describe the work related to legal activities by using analytical methods and modeling techniques;
Learning outcomes of the course "Criminal Law, Part 1" detailing results such training program:
• correctly interpret and apply substantive and procedural law;
• formulate projects regulatory acts according to the principles of legal regulation;
• implement sectoral and cross-sectoral systematization of normative acts;
• to fold the projects of statements, complaints and other documents of legal character;
• to provide advice and clarification on questions of notarial activities and notarial acts in accordance with the competence;
• analyze and evaluate the circumstances of the case;

Summary of the subject:
"Criminal law" as an academic discipline refers to the fundamental, normative, obligatory, professionally-oriented legal subjects and is a leader in the training of lawyers. Educational discipline of "Criminal law, part 2" provides a study of the concept, subject, methods, characteristics, principles of criminal law, a compulsory objective and subjective signs of warehouses, clarify their content, of application circumstances precluding criminality of act

Assessment methods and criteria:
For discipline «Criminal Law» means the evaluation of knowledge (training success) are: preliminary, current and final control of students knowledge.
Previous control is a diagnostics entry-level knowledge, which allows to identify the level of students ' knowledge at the beginning of the discipline or at the beginning of the study of a particular topic. The form of previous control is entrance control of knowledge. It is held on the first the seminar with the aim of testing students ' knowledge obtained from the study subjects at the previous levels of education. Previous control in the type of verification and estimation of remaining knowledge is also carried out at some time in the beginning of the next seminars. Incoming control of knowledge is carried out in the form of written work with the definition of certain concepts, categories, or procedural - legal phenomena for 10 to 15 minutes at the beginning of class.
The estimation of entrance control of knowledge of students is set off to the estimation for seminar or practice session.
Current control knowledge is an integral part of the entire educational process and serves as a means of identifying the degree of perception (assimilation) training material on discipline "Criminal law".
Evaluation of knowledge of students on the basis of the current knowledge control is done by monitoring activity while studying the program material of the discipline "Criminal law", including responses to seminars, preparation of reports and analysis reports etc.
Current control at seminars held to ascertaining the readiness of students to classes in the following forms:
- frontal standardized verbal questioning of students after the basic questions of seminar;
- Frontal checking homework;
- call individual students for independent solving practical problems or situations;
- Blitz - polls, which is either a complete survey of all present students or sample survey of the participants. Questions on the topic (several topics), which was preparing for seminars, provide a clear answer short. In a blitz poll every graduate student has the right to answer only once;
- Other.
Independent and individual work of students provides targeted search for effective ways to study the subjec «Criminal Low», awareness and consistency in work, ability to use existing literature and regulatory framework, plan own work.
The final control of students' knowledge in favor of offset (exam). The structure of tasks record, according to the specifics include:
- Tests of different difficulty levels,
- A theoretical issue or problem regulatory nature.
Criteria for evaluating learning outcomes: Practical seminars - 40,
Exam - 50 points
Oral component - 10 points
