Learning outcomes:
• have an understanding of current issues and trends in nanotechnology;
• know the physical nature of the processes that occur in the production of nanomaterials, osno-vni characteristics of nanomaterials;
• be able to present research results in the form of reports, essays and presentations;
• know the standards and other regulations to assess the quality control of products;
• know controls parameters and properties of nanoscale objects;
• be aware of the conditions for the use of nanomaterials in industry.

• prerequisites: molecular physics, electricity and magnetism, atomic and nuclear physics, theoretical mechanics and continuum mechanics, theoretical mechanics, statistical physics and thermodynamics;
• corequisites: solid state physics, the physics of quantum-sized systems, structural physics of disor-dered systems physics and nanotechnology, functional materials molecular energy, energy of molecular devices of new generation.

Summary of the subject:
The classification of nanotechnologies and nanomaterials. The main types of structures of nanoma-terials. Physical causes the specific properties of nanomaterials. The main areas of application of nanomaterials. Methods for producing nanoparticles. Technology surface treatment. Methods of diagnosis of nanomaterials.
