to know: types and properties of modern information systems and technologies, the possibility of their use for data processing, database language, including the Transact-SQL language;
to be able: apply modern information systems and technologies to automate work related to information processing, including work with modern information systems, use modern methods of search and information analysis, presentation of results and analysis of information security. To be able to create and use objects DBMS MS SQL SERVER;

Information, data, knowledge, aspects of the data. The concept of information technology. Features and Tasks IS.
File information systems (FIS). The idea of ??the database.
The life cycle engineering products. Models IS development life cycle (task model cascade model, spiral model).
Concept data model (DM). Strong and semi DM. The model "entity-relationship". Communication. Integrity constraints and business rules.
Data models. Relational data model. Relational algebra and its operations. Relational calculus on tuples and domains.
Anomalies and their types. 1NF, 2NF, 3NF, BCNF, 4NF, 5NF.
Description language data and data manipulation. History, role and importance of SQL language. Relational operations as data manipulation language commands. Virtual attributes and tables.
Operators Select, Insert, Update and Delete.
Triggers, stored procedures, functions, cursors.
The structure of the database. The structure of external memory. Storage tables. Indices and B-tree. The hash-function and service information.
Types of tables. Tables, organized in a heap. Table, organized by the index. Tables in the index cluster. Tables hash cluster. The attached table. Temporary table. Representation. Using concepts in SQL-queries.
