After completing the course the student should:
- know the essence of the basic concepts and categories of the international economic relations;
- know the form of international economic relations;
- be able to analyze the processes of modern world economic development;
- be able to creatively analyze the status and trends of international economic relations;
- be able to determine the parameters volume, dynamics, efficiency and effectiveness of international trade, investment, monetary and financial relations;
- know the characteristics of the integration process and economic activities of international organizations;
- analyze threats and benefits to domestic enterprises in entering the various segments of international trade, financial and currency markets.

The object and purpose of discipline "International economic relations and the global economy". World economy and features of its development. Evolutionary periods of the formation of international economic relations. The environment of international economic relations. The international division of labor and cooperation of production. International trade as the leading form of international economic relations. International Economic Relations in services. International investment activity and industrial cooperation. International labor migration. International scientific and technological exchange. The world monetary system and the international monetary and financial relations. International credit relations. International economic integration. International economic organizations in multilateral economic cooperation and regulation of international economic relations. The problems of integration of Ukraine into the system of world economic relations. The economic unity of the world and global problems of international economic relations.
