The Pop Song Ensemble of Lviv Polytechnic took part in the XI International Children’s and Youth Festival Rudaga New Star. In the category of singing bands it was the best.
The festival lasted two days: on June 20 there were competitive performances in the Jūrmala Culture Center and on June 21 the winners of the competition gave a charity gala concert in the legendary Dzintari concert hall. Instrumentalists, soloists and dancers took part in the competition. Besides Lvivites, Ukraine was represented by the student choir from Sumy – both bands were invited to Latvia by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. Suziria Ensemble performed the song «Oberih», for which they were presented with the diploma, and during the gala concert – with the Grand Prix.
