• construction and utilisation characteristics of buildings, structures, engineering networks of public utilities;
• work of constructions, forces in its certain elements caused by the action of existing loadings;
• methods of element, unit and construction diagnostics;
• influence of defects and damages on bearing ability of particular construction elements or a building at large;
• structure of administrative objects in cities, methods of process management;
• principles, main rules of buildings selection for repair works or reconstruction; emergency repairs of buildings or their certain constructions;
• main methods of mounting, repairing and reconstruction of particular buildings, constructions and structures of public utilities. • knowledge of the state language and at least one foreign language on the level of professional and everyday use;
• ability to acquire new knowledge, master progressive technologies and different innovations;
• ability to use effective communication interactions, including with the help of information technologies;
• ability to comply with legislative norms and to defend one’s rights;
• ability to conform to generally accepted norms of behaviour and ethics in interpersonal relations and society;
