Learning outcomes:
to know:
- place, role, scope of Using quantitative methods of gathering sociological information;
- methodology, methods and techniques of quantitative methods of social research;
- techniques and procedures for collecting and monitoring quantitative sociological information;
be able to:
- develop tools for basic methods of collecting quantitative ?sociological information;
- calculate the volume of the sample and develop its design;
- organize and collect sociological data using the methods of observation, experiment, content analysis of documents, interrogations.

prerequisites: Theoretical Sociology, Special Socioligy, Branch Sociology.
соrequisites: Contemporary Sociological Theory.
Summary of the subject:
Theoretical and methodological principles of collecting quantitative sociological information. Procedures of conceptualization and operationalization. Measurement in sociology. Method of interrogation: general methodological characteristics. The method of questioning. The method of interview. The method of content analysis of documents. The method of observation. The method of the experiment.
